Game fees

Traditionally, most jubensha games have a dedicated host who explains the rules, makes sure players don’t get stuck, and role plays as characters throughout the game. Hosted games will be £25-30 per person.

We’ll also have “host-lite” games costing £15 per person, and one unhosted game that will be free to play.

Talks and workshops

We’ll have talks about the design, production, and business of making jubensha from UK and international creators. We’ll also have talks from people from jubensha-adjacent fields like larp and escape rooms.

Talks will be 10-20 minutes long, excluding Q&As. Some will be presented in person, and others will be pre-recorded or via video call. We hope to make talks available online afterwards, but we can’t guarantee it.

Workshops will include industry-only playtests for aspiring jubensha designers looking for publishers, and a live jubensha demo with special guests.

If you’d like to give a talk, email contact@jubenshacon.com.

We’re on the second floor of the Theatre Deli at 107 Leadenhall Street, London, EC3A 4AF (map).

Chronic Insanity is a Nottingham based immersive and interactive theatre company that creates and facilitates live events in a variety of traditional, found, and digital spaces. They make work accessibly, affordably, sustainably, and inclusively, seeking to change the definition of what theatre can be by playing with form, genre, medium, and technology. They can often be found running the UK’s first dedicated digital theatre literary department, staging at least 12 shows every 12 months, and being one of the first companies to bring multiple Jubensha to the UK.
